My Dear Mary Jane

I have a fondness with school girl's shoes. I remember wearing Mary Janes when I was small and also remember how I used to love wearing it. It looked so cute with my Marks & Spencer knitted socks and school uniform. I wish I could get a pair now. A chunky one will do. A platform or wedge Mary Jane would also be lovely. But what are the chances of finding one in Cape Town? You can let me know if you ever see a pretty pair.

It's summer time again. What better way to enjoy summer than to spend it at the beach or pool wearing a stylish swimwear. I still think that the sexiest swimsuits were made in the 1950s. I love how the style can flatter one's figure. If you're looking for one, you can go to Foschini. I saw some pretty retro swimsuits there. Check out the photos of some of the swimwear that I love.

The Bow-Tied Lady

Bow ties are cute accessories. I tried making one from a floral material that I have at home and I must admit, it didn't turn out bad(considering I had to hand-stitch it). It's also so easy to do. Sometimes, when I want to get that vintage look, I just wear my shirts with a black ribbon/tie.
