50's Polka Dot Dress from Dear Dorothy

I won a beeeautiful Dear Dorothy vintage-inspired dress and hair bow on YCLAD Magazine last October. I love love love everything about the dress--- the color, design and how it fits. The lovely Laura of Dear Dorothy was so kind as to hand-deliver it to me. She's such a sweetheart. It's definitely going to be my go-to outfit this summer. So retro. So stunning.

Pleated Skirts

These delicate skirts are very flattering. A schoolgirl staple that has become a trend this year. Could be of chiffon, wool, tweed or lace, it flatters and adds volume in the right places. For a chic look, pair with a plain white tee and accessorize with a slim belt. Here are some of the pretty pleated skirts that I found online. I am so obsessed with Peter Pan collars right now. I mean, what's not to like? It's flirty, sweet and cute. Reminds me of the 60's when Twiggy used to wear it. You can also spot celebrities in the likes of Alexa Chung, Rachel Bilson and Emma Watson sporting this trend.
